SCM has joined forces with Wounded Warrior Project, whose mission is to honor and empower wounded service member. SCM will match 100 percent of donations made during IWF.
SCM will also present daily robotic seminars.
“Demonstrations will include real case scenarios with techniques used to streamline production processes. Learn the fundamentals of collaborative and industrial robotic integration and discover how to safely implement these concepts to drive productivity and profitability,†the company said in a statement.
The IWF exhibitor will feature a SCM Router with HE-POD Technology, a finalist for a Challengers Award.
“The new HE POD technology incorporates automatic pod placement together with pods that elevate independently to allow for machining along the panel edges. This machining consists of horizontal drilling and routing, edge profiling and contour edgebanding which reduces cycle times and tool changes, while saving material and allowing for complete flexibility to manage waste,†the company said.
