Lignomat will show Ligno-Scanner SDM

Lignomat USA will present a dual-depth pinless moisture meter, the Ligno-Scanner SDM, at IWF 2018.

“The Ligno-Scanner SDM is one of the most versatile pinless meters,” the company said in a statement. “The meter has built-in correction settings for a great variety of different wood species and panel products used in wood processing and furniture plants. In addition, the measuring depth can be selected according to the board thickness.

“For boards over 3/4”, the meter can be set to a measuring depth of 3/4” deep. For materials 5/8” and thinner, including veneer, the meter can be set to 1/4” deep for accurate measurements. Moisture values and settings for wood species corrections and measuring depth are indicated for each moisture reading.”
